Sustainable Solutions

Meeting Our Customers Needs For Sustainable Resins

The materials we recycle originate from post-production waste, post-consumer consumption, Out-of-Use Vehicles (ELVs) and Electronic Recycling (WEEE).

The properties of thermoplastic compounds – such as their low density and ease of implementation (which allows for the most complex formations, with surprising production rates) – have made it possible to overwhelm our societies with objects that are elaborate, elegant, multifunctional, and inexpensive.

Under media scrutiny and new state and Federal legislation, the treatment of plastic waste has become a major concern, both for manufacturers and consumers.  The management of their waste through upstream sorting operations is a new and growing phenomenon.

PRI is strategically organized to ensure it has the typologies and quantities of materials necessary to valorize (recycle) the materials according to our customer expectations. PRI has invested in the definition and implementation of the most appropriate processes for the preparation of waste, its identification/characterization, as well as in the means and techniques necessary to handle, transform and analyze final product.
Because of the disparity of incoming material’s characteristics and quantities, we’ve developed and use instruments (tools/processes) in the most economic, efficient and effective way necessary to make our compounds.

This variety of incoming materials to be recycled and ultimately used in the composition of our polyolefin compounds, along with the flexibility of recycling each of them in the most appropriate way, gives us an infinite number of possibilities to develop specific grades of material.
Our goal is to achieve consistent product quality and characteristics across all our finished goods

Starting from recycled raw materials, reinforcements and fillers, modifiers, additives, pigments, etc. that are available on the market, we develop and supply the best suited compounds for our customers
so they can produce specific parts and applications for their ultimate destination or product.

Recycling Training Center

We invested in our employees by creating an on-site training center to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge needed to meet our customer’s requirements.

Innovation Center

With a $2 million Innovation Center on site, PRI is invested in developing and manufacturing high performance materials.

R&D

Over time, we have grown with the everchanging recycling industry technologies and standards, creating a well-defined
business model.
